Sometimes i even measure an existing frame with a ruler before ordering anything new. comfort around the heel and toes is more important than super fancy design. when a store shows clear shoulder width, bust, waist and length, it is much easier to choose. online shops that show detailed measurements and care instructions usually get my attention. even big and famous brands sometimes send generic replies that are not very helpful. i also think about how easy it is to track a parcel once it ships.
if anyone is interested in real user experiences, i sometimes write short notes about the shops i test.

i enjoy reading threads where people honestly share what worked and what failed for them. personally i like a mix of design, comfort and realistic pricing. having a tracking number that works on common sites is very convenient. it saves a lot of trial and error for everyone else. i like when they mention whether the fabric has stretch or not, that detail matters a lot. price is important to me, but quality and comfort are even more important in the long run. if many different people say the same thing about a product, it is worth paying attention. i also check if the store explains how to measure pd and frame size clearly.
hope this helps someone.
